Tropical Paradise

Visit the tropics in Cockeysville this season. The temperature is a balmy 70 degrees in our greenhouse. Large, tropical houseplants surround visitors and delight the senses. Fragrant gardenias add an amazing scent to the air. Desert cacti fill a bench in the middle of the greenhouse; bonsai and orchids are available for plant collectors year ‘round. This winter, terrariums and fairy gardens are among our staff’s favorite projects. Diminutive plants of all sorts of shapes and textures fill bench after bench. Earth orbs dangle from displays filled with exotic plants. Bromeliads and cyclamen add a dose of color among the greenery. Stop in for a wonderful respite from the cold.
